Once the admission fee has been paid, the place is considered definitively reserved and the care contract comes into force.

Admission fee – why?

As a childcare centre, we are keen to establish as long-term a care relationship as possible. The enrolment fee is non-refundable if you withdraw during the first year; half of the fee is refunded in the second year. If the place can be filled again or if the two-year period is completed, the fee will be refunded in full. In the event of valid reasons (change of residence, change of job, illness), the fee will be refunded immediately upon presentation of supporting evidence.

Absences

Childcare fees are charged even on days when a child is absent due to holidays or illness, as the place cannot be filled by another child. Ancillary costs are not charged on these days.

Termination

The notice period is four months, to the end of a month. Care must be paid for until the date of leaving, even if care is no longer required.

Municipal subsidies

We have subsidised childcare places available. Parents must submit an application to the City of Zurich’s Social Services Department. Once you have received your final subsidy rate, you can contact us to enquire whether we still have any subsidised places available.

Important: The Ringelrosen Children’s Centre only accepts applications for subsidised places with a maximum subsidy rate of 80 per cent.
